Day 1: Arrival at Jakarta, Sukarno-Hatta airport, transfer to hotel.

We will pick you up from the airport when we know your expected time of arrival. ( so e-mail, write or phone us! )

Day 2: Transfer to Bogor and Bandung.

In the early morning we leave Jakarta on our way to Bandung. On our route we will pass some important tourist places of the capital of Indonesia with it's 12.000.000 inhabitants. We'll see the Sunda Kelapa, the old harbor with it's still in use Buginese skooners, the old city Governement hall in Dutch style and several remnants of 300 years of Dutch rule.Our first stop will be in Bogor, at the famous Kebun Raya, de tropical plant reserve, where thousands of tropical plants are brought together. Among them also culture plants like rubber, vanilla, nutmeg, etc. In the garden also the former residence, "Buitenzorg" of the Dutch gouvernor general is situated. After Bogor the road climbs to the Puncak pass amids of large tea plantation. We will also stop near Telaga Warna, a vulcanic lake, that should change of color many times. Along the former Deandels postroute, one of the oldest main routes of Java, we enter Bandung, the cool residence of many former, well situated Dutch merchants and now a highly valued mondane shopping place, an important cultural, merchand and educational center of Indonesia.

Day 3: Stay in Bandung

On your free morning you can have a look on your own in the city. Bandung is called the "Paris of Java", because of it's many fine parks and gardens. You can visit the old colonial city buid in Dutch style. Art deco is in abundance. Bandung is famous for it's textile industry and you should not forget to visit the "jeans street"Jl. Cihampelas, in the North of the town. The scenery is brightly painted and decorated with plaster stues of legenday monsters.

The main attraction of this city lies in the surrounding landscapes and countryside. In the late afternoon we will make excursions to different high vulcanic peaks and huge tea plantations. We visit the Tungkuban Prahu, the reverse prawn vulcano and we will visit a tea pantation and tea factory.

In the evening we will give you facitities to visit traditional Javanese theatre. Pencak silat demonstrations or wayang golek performances.

Day 4: Transfer to Pangandaran.

From Bandung we make a tour through one of the most beautiful landscapes of Java, with it's rustique rice terraces. In the middle of the fields we will make a walk to visit a small Hinduist temple. We will visit an original Sundanese village, where you will get enough time to have some fine impressions yourself. After that our road will lead through a more mountainous region to the small fisherplace Pangandaran at the south coast of Java near the Big Ocean. We will visit a krupuk and cassave factory. Our hotel will be very close to the white sanded beach, where continuously families are working at their boats, nets and  captures.

Day 5: Stay in Pangandaran

Your free day in Pangandaran you can spend in  many different ways. Among others you could make an excursion in the nearby nature reserve, where you can see wild buffalo's deers, peacocks and different kinds of monkeys. You can also make a guided jungle tour, or make a tour on your own. The beach is beautiful and quiet and the sea is ideal for snorkling.

Day 6: Transfer to Wonosobo

From Pangandaran we will make a tour along the South coast of Java through the brackish water lagunes and the mongrove moors on our way to Cilicap. We will visit several small fishermen settlements build on piles. It's a marvelous, quiet tour, compared to the busy traffic of the main roads and cities. From Cilicap we will enter the mountains of Central Java and will arrive in Wonosobo.

Day 7: Transfer to Dieng Plateau and Yogyakarta.

Early in the morning we will leave to the 200 m high Dieng Plateau. The whole Plateau is made out of the remnants of an old crater of a vulcano. That's why at many places you can see vulcanic phenomena like cooking mud sources, sulfur lakes and hot water springs. On this plateau we will also visit the oldest Hinduist temples of Java and a small museum with archeologiscal discoveries. On our way from Dieng to Yogyakarta we will also visit famous Borobudur temple, the most famous Buddhist monument of the world.

Day 8: Stay in Yogyakarta.

In Yogjakarta there is a lot to see and to do. It's really the most characteristic and nices city of Indonesia. Only the roaming through streets and small passages is already worth while the trouble. One of the main tourist attractions is the Kraton, the palace of the sultan who is still in function. Further there are the water palace, the bird market, and the big market. Yogja is a place where traditional Javanese culture still are highly honored. Many times you can visit there wayang and dance performances. Yogya is also a center of old Javanese arts like batik, silverwelding and forging. This marbvelous city is also excellent to bye souvenirs like silverwares, batiks and wayang puppets.

Day 9: Excursion to Prambanan temple complex.

In the morning of your second free day in Yogyakarta we will have a guiderd excursion to the beauitiful Prambanan temple complex near Yogya.

Day 10: Transfer to Solo and Candi Suku.

After the marvels of Yogya we will drive to Solo. another Javanese sultan city. From Solo we enter soonest the mountains and we will visit a temple called Candi Suku, situated at the sl;opes of the Lawu vulcano. This temple is famous for it's sculptures of erotic representations. From the temple you will have a magnificient view on the terraced mountian slopes and on the valley of deeply eroded river Solo. 

Day 11: Transfer to Blitar.

Along the less visited, but more interesting route through Central Java, we will arrive in Blitar, a typical javanese province town. We will visit there the best conserved temple complex of the Majapahit sultanate in Indonesia.

Day 12: Transfer to  Malang, Ngadisari ( Nongkojajar - Bromo).

On our route to Bromo we will visit Malang, the main apple growing and producing region of Indonesia. We will drive from there to the mountain village Ngadisari, where the road ends. From there we have to walk arounf half an hour to the border of the Bromo crater where we will forbring the night in a quiet guesthouse, where they also have a cosy restaurant. In the afternoon you can enjoy a guided tour through this specific vulcanic landscape and have a look at the highest mountain of Indonesia the Semeru 

Day 13: Transfer to Bromo, Surabaya and flight to Jakarta or connection to Java - Bali - Lombok tour.

In the early morning we will wake up and after breakfast we will make a walk to the highest top of mount Bromo, from where we are going to enjoy the most famouss view of Indonesia: sunrise from behind the mountains awakening and slowly revealing the splendid mountain landsape.

With many beautyful images and happy memories in our minds, together with smiles and utterings of hospitality of our Indonesian people, we are leaving for the airport of Surabaya where a small aircraft will pick us up for a flight to Jakarta's airport Sukarno Hatta. From there to our friendly hotel in Jakarta. Your seat in the airplane will be reserved around the proper connecting time, unless you let us know that you are choosing an alternative as mentioned below.

Our guests who will continue their stay in Indonesia will be picked up in the early morning of this day to continue from here their road to Sukamade.
